Garden OB/GYN Health Tip Of The Day: Can I Drink Coffee While Pregnant?

During pregnancy, coffee intake is only recommended in moderation as the effects of caffeine on the developing baby are not definitive. If pregnant, you should not drink more than 200mg of caffeine per day, including tea and other caffeinated beverages. If you are in your first trimester, it is recommended to avoid caffeine as it may increase your risk of a miscarriage.
