We are therefore closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation so you can rest assured that our world-class medical experts and dedicated staff are working tirelessly to take care of you -- and we stand ready during this challenging time. We are taking extra precautions to guard the safety and health of our patients, staff, and communities by both offering virtual video chat visit options to our patients and by upholding strict sanitation efforts in our offices, which are still open and safe for appointments and consultations.

Increased Access from Home with Virtual Visits
Practicing social distancing is a responsible, wise decision at this time. With Garden OB/GYN's Virtual Visits, you can remain safely at home while consulting with a provider. Virtual Visits are accessed through Apple FaceTime and WhatsApp video chat.

Who can schedule:
Virtual visits are available for all of our patients for questions, concerns, and conditions that are not severe (birth control refills, health questions, etc.) Patients requiring a physical exam or that have a more severe condition are encouraged to still physically come into the office, which are still open and fully functioning with extra sanitation and safety measures in place.

Our offices are still open and it is safe to come in for your consultations and appointments.
Following CDC and authority guidelines, we are continuously cleaning and disinfecting our facilities. This includes disinfecting our bathrooms, waiting rooms, exam rooms, and frequently touched surfaces daily, such as door knobs, light switches, phones, and much more. Our offices are fully stocked with health and sanitation supplies (hand sanitizer, soap, masks, gowns, gloves etc.) so that our staff can use them to keep themselves and our patients safe and prevent the spread. We are using solutions with at least 60% alcohol content to ensure that surfaces are in fact disinfected.
Social Distancing procedures: The virus is mainly spread from person-to-person that are within 6 feet of each other.
Screening: We are therefore screening all patients before their visit and asking patients who are feeling sick, who may have the symptoms of COVID-19, or who have recently come in contact with an infected individual, to stay home until they have been tested. We are also screening each and every patient during check-in for the virus' symptoms or for potential recent contact with an infected person, in order to keep everyone safe.
Guests: Patients are requested to come alone; if accompanied during their visits, the guest will be requested to wait in their car or elsewhere.
These extra precautionary steps will help keep our patients and the Garden family safe.

The CDC recommends the following steps in reducing the spread of COVID-19:
- Washing your hands as often as possible with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
- Using a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Practice social distancing

The best thing you could do to help flatten the curve is to stay at home whenever possible (and use our virtual visit option), avoid contact with people, and if you absolutely must leave your house, stay at least 6 feet away from others. We are all in this together and it is up to us all to do our part in flattening the curve.
