About Prenatal Care
Prenatal care is the healthcare you receive during pregnancy to ensure the health of both you and your baby. At Garden OB/GYN, our board-certified obstetricians provide personalized care throughout every stage of your pregnancy, from your first positive test through delivery. We monitor your health and your baby's development with regular checkups, lab work, and imaging — catching potential concerns early so you can have the safest pregnancy possible.
What to Expect
Your prenatal visits will include regular checkups every four weeks during the first and second trimesters, increasing to every two weeks and then weekly as your due date approaches. Each visit includes blood pressure monitoring, weight tracking, fundal height measurements, and fetal heart rate checks. You'll also receive routine bloodwork, glucose screening, and ultrasounds at key milestones. Our providers take the time to answer your questions, discuss your birth plan, and address any concerns you may have.
Who Is It For
All expectant mothers benefit from prenatal care, whether this is your first pregnancy or your fifth. Early and consistent prenatal care is especially important for women with high-risk factors such as advanced maternal age, diabetes, hypertension, or a history of pregnancy complications.
