Dr. Shah Giashuddin, MD, is a board-certified anatomic and breast pathologist serving patients throughout Long Island and Manhattan. Dr. Giashuddin is the lead pathologist in Garden Medical Laboratory, ensuring the quality and accuracy of biopsies and other diagnostic tests.
After earning his doctorate of medicine, Dr. Giashuddin completed his AP/CP Pathology residency at the New York University Medical Center. During that time, he taught at the New York University Medical School.
Dr. Giashuddin went on to complete rigorous fellowship training in oncologic surgical pathology at New York University Medical Center and cytopathology at the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He is also certified in ThinPrep and SurePath™pap smears.
Dr. Giashuddin is involved in various research projects studying the cellular progression of breast cancer and has published dozens of peer-reviewed articles. He also lectures and presents at conferences both in the United States and internationally.
Dr. Giashuddin is involved in cytopathology diagnostic work, specializing in breast, cervix, and other gynecological disease.
