Dr. Peter Maran

Dr. Peter Maran has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for more than 50 years. He earned his medical degree from the University of Zurich in 1969, completed his internship at Ichilov Municipal Hospital in Israel, and finished his OB/GYN residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York in 1975.

His Garden OB/GYN practice is based in Manhattan, where he provides the full range of women's health services — prenatal care, gynecologic exams, family planning, contraception, and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. Trilingual in English, Spanish, and French, he has cared for generations of New York families and is known for the kind of judgment that only a long career in this specialty can produce.
