Dr. Gopika Are

Dr. Gopika Are is a board-certified OB/GYN and Fellow of ACOG who has built her reputation at Garden OB/GYN around major gynecologic surgical care. She received her medical degree from Osmania Medical College in India, then completed OB/GYN residencies at the University of South Alabama and at Long Island College Hospital.

Her clinical practice centers on procedures patients often dread but need: myomectomy and hysterectomy for fibroids, MyoSure for fibroid and polyp removal, salpingectomy, oophorectomy, and cystectomy. She also provides the full range of obstetric and gynecologic care, from annual exams to prenatal management.
