Are you experiencing itchiness in or around your vaginal area? Don't fret! This is likely due to one of the many common causes of vaginal itching or irritation. Most causes of vaginal itchiness are due to an infection and treatable, so you need not worry.

  • Do you have itchiness, inflammation, burning, discharge and/os a fishy odor? These symptoms may mean you have Bacterial vaginosis, which occurs when the normal balance of healthy bacteria is thrown off and instead “bad” bacteria begin growing, caasing an infection.
  • Are you approaching or experiencing menopause? The drop in estrogen associated with menopause can also cause itchiness and irritation
  • Are you breastfeeding? Some women experience itchiness as a result of the vaginal walls thinning while they are breastfeeding

If you are facing any of these symptoms, consult your OBGYN or HCP for a diagnosis.
