Pap Smear

A Pap smear which is also known as a Pap test is a procedure that is used to test cervical cancer in women. A pap smear can detect cervical cancer early and it gives you a greater chance of being cured from the cancer . Pap smears do not hurt, and the procedure is over quickly. The test should not be done during your menstrual period due to the fact that the blood can interfere with the results. The best time to book an appointment for a pap smear is two weeks about the start of your last menstrual period.

We offer Pap smears at each of our  state of the art Garden OB/GYN  locations. Book your appointment with us today!
